ARMY
All Defence Forces cadets traditionally wear a distinctive heavy white leather epaulettes on their tunic. The epaulette is detachable which allows it to be replaced by a tunic material epaulette when the cadet is commissioned to officer rank.

This set of DPM sliders were a local arrangement, but the idea progressed to the official issue slider.

Keeping in line with the sliders for the army and following the local arrangement these two sliders were introduced.

These epaulette rank bars were introduced in 2006 for wear on the overcoat. The white leather epaulette is still worn on the tunic. They are only worn by the Senior class.
