Rank Markings - Reserves - Sliders

These rank markings were originally introduced for the Naval Service but with the introduction of the gold rank slider for the navy these blue ranks were then issued to the Naval Reserve (Slua Muiri).  In 2002 these were phased out and the Slua adopted the gold pattern.

For a short period of time a darker shade of blue rank slider existed in this series. These where actually worn by naval personnel only.
