Cyprus, 1964 - 1973

For many years there has been a debate amongst badge collectors as to whether the badge of the  Armoured Car Group, 3 Infantry Group (as displayed below) was ever worn.  Following extensive research by me,  I have come to the firm conclusion that the badge was in fact never worn.  The badge shown here is a copy of what had been proposed for the unit.

NB: The 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th Infantry Groups were home designations and did not wear a title.
