80th - 89th Infantry Battalions, Lebanon 

With the introduction of the new DPM combat uniform in 2000 the wearing of a unit title had ceased. The 86th Battalion title was issued but not worn.  The 87th Battalion was worn and that was the last of these titles to be created.

These two badges were actually created locally in Lebanon and worn only by the pipe band on their parade uniform.

NOTE: The 89th Battalion was the last Irish Battalion to serve in Lebanon.
